DevEd 2025 will be held in Melbourne Australia, a key point of connection between Asia and the Pacific. The venue is set in the historic State Library Victoria, located in the heart of Melbourne’s central business district.

State Library Victoria is Australia’s oldest public library. Established in 1854, it is one of the first free public libraries in the world, providing a unique venue for DevEd 2025.

Travel

Myki travel card is your ticket to travel on trains, trams, and buses in Melbourne and regional Victoria. You can buy a Myki card from the airport (terminals 2, 3, and 4) and top it up at train stations, 7-11 convenience stores, or through the Myki phone app.  

Melbourne’s Central Business District (CBD) is a highly walkable area, known for its iconic grid layout. If walking isn’t your preference, Melbourne is home to the biggest tram network outside of Europe. Trams provide a convenient means of transportation throughout the city, with the free tram zone spanning the inner CBD. Within this zone, you do not need to use your Myki card.
